XBB Dongle – Wireless Control for Auxiliary Lights and Accessories via OBD
The XBB Dongle is a next-generation solution for wiring auxiliary lights and other accessories. The trigger signal is obtained directly from the vehicle’s OBD port via the CAN bus, eliminating the need for additional wiring between the cabin and engine compartment. The dongle reads the trigger information from the vehicle and wirelessly transmits it to the Power Unit relay, which can be installed in place of a traditional auxiliary light relay.
Installation is faster, cleaner, and safer since extra cabling is not required. The dongle is easily configured using the XBB app (Android and iOS), enabling precise and vehicle-specific functionality.
One dongle can be connected to:
- 4 pcs of 1605-WK-070-1 additional relays, or
- 1 pc of 1605-WK078 Smart Button + 3 pcs of additional relays
Power Unit relay current capacity: 15 A + 5 A.
