Defrosta® is a new frost-resistant additive for SCR systems that ensures reliable operation of AdBlue systems even at temperatures as low as –30 °C. The product contains the same active ingredient concentration as conventional urea and is suitable for demanding professional use. Available in 200-liter drums and 1000-liter IBC containers.
Defrosta® has been developed to ensure the reliable operation of SCR systems even in the coldest conditions. It improves the frost resistance of the AdBlue system and prevents freezing issues at temperatures as low as –30 °C, making it an excellent solution for heavy-duty equipment and professional use in Finnish winter conditions.
Defrosta contains the same mass concentration of active ingredient (ammonia) as traditional urea, so its cleaning efficiency in the SCR system is equivalent to standard AdBlue usage. Its use does not compromise emissions control and ensures system functionality in situations where regular AdBlue may freeze or cause operational disruptions.
